We’re back! Day 9, 10 and 11 online. Last few soon to come

We are back on U.S. soil! We made it back a few hours ago, and we are just now trying to rest from the long trip. Of course it’s past midnight here but our bodies feel like it’s still noon. I have posted trip pics from day 9, 10 and 11 on picasa, go check them out! Once I regroup here I will post the last days along with some other interesting pics and a recap of this incredible trip.

Sorry again for the delay. I feel under the weather and wanted to do nothing but sleep when we got back to the hotel. I’m back, but once again it’s late, so I posted a bunch of pics from day 6 on the picasa site.

Taiwan- Day 5

Here are some more pics from our day 5 adventure! This batch includes our trip to one of Taiwan’s National Parks, The National Palace Museum, The Taiwanese President’s garden, and the Shilin Night Market.

And incase you’re wondering what I’m about to eat in the one picture, it is a well known (and intimidating) delicacy in Taiwan, stinky tofu! Yep, I tried it…and it wasn’t that bad!

Yet another fun filled day. Still trying to catch up to our current day, the next two have too many pictures for me to go through tonight. So I’ll have to try to catch up tomorrow. Enjoy!

Taiwan – Day 4

I’m sorry to say this will be a quick post. One again it’s been a long day and I am yet unable to catch up with my posts. Here is day 4, with our trip to Sun Moon Lake and Taipei 101. More to come soon, enjoy!

Taiwan – Day 3

Taiwan – Day 2

Day 2 brought about a slower day for us. We rested a little at Mei’s Aunt’s house, did a little more sightseeing at one of the markets on a mountain, and of course ate some more. The boys also got in a little “R & R” time with Mei’s grandfather. We needed the rest, because later that night the rest of the clan was to join us, then it was off on our non-stop adventure!

Taiwan – Day 1

We’ve arrived!

After our long trip, we enjoyed our first day in Taiwan by doing a little eating and a little sightseeing. We also had the opportunity to reunite with some of Mei’s family, including he grandparents. Mei’s Uncle was such a gracious host, as he offered to take us sightseeing.
